1. People surf for information
The simple fact is that most people go online looking for information. There are all kinds of people and they are looking for all kinds of information so that leaves plenty of room and opportunity for the new Internet entrepreneur to find a niche to carve out a business in. It is true that most people go to the Internet looking for free information and there is plenty available. That may sound like a negative but it is actually a positive.

2. There is so much information
The Internet is full of information and much of it can be had at no cost whatsoever. However, if you are looking for specific and detailed information on almost any topic, you could spend hours or longer searching and compiling that information in order for it to be usable. This is where your opportunity jumps out. If someone has a problem that they need an answer to, and you are there to offer that answer in a concise manner and in one single location, do you think they will pay for that convenience?

3. Simply offering information is not enough to build a business on. That information has to answer the needs of the people that you are targeting. For example, the may be reams of free information online about treating acne naturally. However, if you are targeting this market and have a true solution to this painful problem, then you have a very good chance of building a highly successful Internet business by marketing your solution.
